DAC Website Sales Agreement

The DeSoto Arts Center provides this website to promote the sale of artwork for our members. DAC does not enter into any negotiations, all communication takes place between the artist and the buyer. The DeSoto Arts Center bears no responsibility for the condition or the timely delivery of artwork.

1. Artist may display 2 pieces of artwork for sale at one time on the website OR Artist may show a sampling of their art with a link back to their website. Artists are encouraged to send us a photo and bio which will be included on their page.
2. Artist may change unsold displayed artwork every 2 months.
3. DAC will replace sold artwork as soon as we are notified, given new photographs, and descriptions.
4. Photograph of artwork must must be given to us as a jpg file, no larger than 1200 x 1200 pixels.
5. The artist's email link will be placed on their page for communication with buyer.
6. The artist is solely responsible for all communication, and agreements with the buyer.
7. Artist must be a member of the DeSoto Arts Center to place artwork on the DAC website.
8. All displayed artwork must be priced.
9. For new listings; photos of artwork, description and price may be emailed to info@desotoartscenter.org
10. A 20% commission will be charged the artist for artwork sold. This will be maintained on the honor system, artist is asked to contact DAC when their artwork is sold.
11. Terms of this agreement may change from time to time.
12. Submission of this form confirms that the artist agrees with these terms.
